Haematology

Haematology is the study of disorders and diseases of the blood, focusing on both neoplastic and non-neoplastic pathology. The facilities available in this section of our laboratory, which include automated analysers from Sysmex and Zybio Inc, allow for testing blood samples for complete blood counts (CBCs), including new parameters like Immature Granulocytes and P-LCR. We also analyze peripheral blood smears for typing of anemias, abnormal cells, and parasites, and perform coagulation studies. Our fully automated system, commencing from bar coding to Bi-directional interfacing, enables the laboratory to minimize transcriptional errors.
